This artwork celebrates the meeting place between land and water - the rich layers of Country and the deep, calming blues of the sea.

Turtles feature throughout my work as a symbol of family and community, and the connection between Elders and the younger generation. They remind us of the strength we find in community and the stories that guide us.

Living on Dharawal Country, I’m surrounded by the beauty of both bush and ocean - and this piece is my reflection of that balance. It’s a reminder to slow down, reconnect, and bring a sense of calm and grounding into your home.

Specifications

This artwork was painted using acrylic paints on stretched canvas, and then framed in a beautiful Tasmanian oak timber floating frame. The assembly is completed with framers tape and is strung ready to hang.
